The ® mtvU™ Platinum Select® Visa® Card for College Students is designed specifically for students and offers a unique reward program that awards students for using credit wisely and for receiving good grades.

These points can be redeemed for gift cards, CDs, a VIP mtvU™ Spring Break Pass, tickets to the MTV Video Music Awards, and airline tickets. I agree with Daniel, when you get into a situation where you have to either feed your children or pay your credit hounds, you choose your children, then you are messed up for a very long time. But I will always choose my children before the credit. I did and will again if I am in the same situation. I would like to get my credit rebuilt but no matter how many offers there are, if one credit company turns you as slow, the rest are kind of like the little old gossips where I live, they tell one another and good bye credit.

This sounds like a good offer, as long as it is not too good to be true. I’m in on receiving this card, with the gas savings, etc….just tell me how to apply - I already have a bank, but am always open to another one and fortunately have the funds to do it with, as long as i am careful, which I intend to be.

Lets get to the coompletion of the necessary documents. I NEED TO BUILD CREDIT, I am a student in Lanston with dual degrees, and graduate this semester from Langston, then go on into a law school for three semester.

    You have m;y interest.

why don’t you say that these cards are only for the peopls with great credit instead of saying it’s for college students. How are you surpose to get off the ground to a better life if these billion dollar companys wont take a chance on you

I’m really sorry to say this but I think that owning a credit card of any kind if really stupid in every way and heres why: Many young people just going into college such as my self tend to think more of the moment then of what could happen in the feature. I know I do it myself. We tend to get over it as we get older well hopefully but I think this is wrong because we will over spend with what ever we need and then get so far into dept that we wont be able to pay the money back. I don’t think this it is wise to be scaming people of their money like that especaily for the money you may be getting for enticing people to get themselves into trouble. And for the record yes its good to get credit but those of you how are reading this be pacient it will come. Most have cell phones so that is a start. but when you end up buying a home your credit will grow so it will come in time but a credit card is really not the answer. It will only bring you down in credit not up. I know I’ve done it and it sucks:(

Forget the credit cards for now, When you pay off your student loans that will show on your credit score as well as while you are paying them off. Remember, every time some one checks your credit, it counts against you on your credit.
