The new four letter word on everyones lips these days is debt, which in turn leads to other four letter words. Debt has always been there, it’s just been seated comfortably at the kids table. Now it’s at the head table and scooping up a second helping of stress and anxiety; a most distasteful helping indeed. But help is available if you know where to look.

This is a really good deal! :) Nowadays we hear a lot about secured debts (usually mortages) that have people in the hunt for new money. Considering that with unsecured debts the borrower’s interest rate is much more higher, this is a good opportunity to take off the risk of paying for such an expensive loan.

My family is in debt right now and I’m always looking for new ways to help them. I don’t really trust a whole lot of debt companies, but I do look at the offers and benefits. I’ll do anything I can to help my family out of debt. My sisters have a dream of going to college too. I hope that someday I’ll be able to see them fulfill their dreams.

I would have to agree with Marianna. It is becoming more difficult for students to get money for school. People need to make sure they know what they are getting into before they sign their name. You always need to be thinking ahead, just in case something unfortunate happens and things don’t go the way you planned.

Student should have access to more consulting agents who are willing to inform students of the resources available to them as consumers.

Also, there should be a onlin dictionary, and index to assist student with understanding the definition of key terms for comprehension purposes.

It’s one thing to become debt free- but how do we live that way on a daily basis…buying only that which we can afford including houses, cars, furniture etc. It’s maintaining that freedom which is the ultimate challenge.

    June 8th, 2009 | #

  103. Amy says

Candice that is the point become debt free and controle your spending, only purchase items that you can afford at the time. It is called budgeting and having the dicipline to stick to it. You need an education you do not need fancey new cars or toys. Do what you have to get by and when you can afford to do so, buy what want.

Debt is a nasty four-letter word! For most of us it has become something much worse…a endless, downward-spiraling nightmare. Today EVERYONE must tighten his or her belt and make conservation and financial stability a constant in their lives. I believe debt consultation more so than debt consolidation (whenever possible) has more advantages than fear, depression or denial. Debt, like death and taxes is something with which we all must deal; however, approaching it armed with knowledge, clear goals in mind and discipline and determination will get us through it all. There is always a way out-we just have to be patient to find it. Several things to remember are to (1) always look up,(2)plan ahead and (3) have faith. Get counseling, stick to a plan and don’t look back or doubt yourself…good things lie ahead! This information is inspiration for debt resolution and survival…thanks!
